Why Practice Yoga Alone

Well, there is a 40 day challenge starting this coming Monday, September 30th with the peeps of Sky House Yoga to do a practice of your choice and duration—asana, meditation, breath, kriya, mantra—everyday for 40 days.  As you go, you can find support and offer support to other 40 day-ers through their electronic community.  I am doing it.  Join me. 

To participate, all you have to do is send an email to skyhouseyoga@gmail.com very briefly describing what you are planning to do everyday for 40 days (eg, 5 sun salutations, 20 minutes of meditation, repeating a mantra 108 times), and they will connect you to their Facebook and Google groups.

Nag-A-Day

Sunday stretch. Sunday screech. Sunday soften.

Working the outer hips is so hard for me. Physically and emotionally. There is stuff in there.

I can avoid it. Or I can breathe. Cry a little. Or a lot. And breathe some more.
